If the actual dimensions of an insert differ from the published spec sheet, it may impact the compatibility with our hoods. We do not guarantee the fit for brands not sold on our website.
If you purchase your range hood insert from another place than Hoodsly.com, you may need to sand, cut, chisel, remove or notch internal chimney ribs, and finish or build additional reinforcements.

The Monsoon Mini will work with the 30″ and 36″ wide hood of all styles. Because the unit is 1/16 thicker than our standard inside opening, you can sand the 1/16″ out of the inside of the hood, which is a lot of sanding. If you prefer to increase the depth, you can select any depth size and add a solid bottom to close the gap in depth for the hood.
