With an extended depth to 19.3125″ or deeper and a solid bottom added, this unit will work with the boxed and bell style hoods only.

The Best model inserts are an excellent fit for all of our hood styles. Once you match the width of your insert to the corresponding hood width (30″ insert works with the 30″ wide hood), the depth of the hood needs to be modified to 19.3125″, which is available under Size Modification on the product pages. You do not need to add a solid bottom. There may be some light sanding needed on the depth as the dimension is the exact same as our inside opening.

PLEASE NOTE: A 22.5″ Depth Increase is needed for the 48″ CP37 Series.

Due to the shape of the Thermador ventilation, these units are not a good fit for all of our hood models. In order for them to work with select models, you will need to select an extended depth to 22.5″, which will leave a 0.5″ gap between the liner and the inside opening of the hood. This small gap will need to be filled in width-wise. This can be covered utilizing a filler (not provided by us) or by adding a solid bottom on our product page.

The Monsoon Mini will work with the 30″ and 36″ wide hood of all styles, but requires a custom depth. Because the unit is 1/16 thicker than our standard inside opening, you can sand the 1/16″ out of the inside of the hood, which is a lot of sanding. If you prefer to increase the depth, you can select any depth size and add a solid bottom to close the gap in depth for the hood. This model is a perfect fit for all our trimmed hoods.

In order for the ZLINE models to fit, we supply a ZLINE Modification Kit that is easily installed at the time of installation. This mod-kit is only supplied when the ZLINE is purchased with a wood hood from us. These models are an excellent fit for each of our hood styles without a modification to the depth or solid bottom.

The 15″ depth of ZLINE is not an ideal fit for our hoods, as it requires either a solid bottom or a 3″ filler to be installed.
