Curved Metal Hood

Due to the size of our hoods, your shipment will arrive via LTL freight shipping. If you’re not familiar with this type of delivery, there are a few key differences from UPS or FedEx. The LTL carrier will call you the day before to schedule your delivery appointment. You must schedule this appointment or your item will not be delivered. The driver will provide curbside delivery only, meaning they will not bring the item into your home. Please be prepared to receive the shipment, fully inspect your range hood for any damage immediately upon delivery, note any shipping-related damage on the bill of lading, and move the hood to a safe location.

If the driver is unable to reach you to schedule delivery, we will return the shipment and hold it for one week, and you will be responsible for the shipping fees if we attempt redelivery. If we do not hear from you within that week, we will refund the order minus the shipping fees.

Turnaround Times

Standard lead times for any metal hood product is 20-25 business days.

Hoodsly does not recommend scheduling installation services prior to receiving and inspecting the product. Hoodsly is not responsible for any rescheduling or installation fees associated with production delays, shipping delays, or product issues. All estimated ship dates are subject to change until the product ships.

Any products purchased in our warehouse sale category will be shipping from our warehouse within 2 business days.

Shipping Times

Please allow up to 7 business days for shipping.

Once your order has been placed, you will have 2 business days to make any changes to your order without being charged additional fees, on top of the cost of the changes. Changes made after 2 business days, but before your hood has entered production, will incur a $250 fee, plus the cost of the requested changes. Changes made after production has started will incur a $500 fee, plus the cost of the requested changes.

Once a metal range hood enters production, no changes can be made to the order.

Upon receipt of your package you can initiate your return by contacting Customer Service and following the steps outlined below. Most items are returnable as long as they are in the same condition they were received with a 25% restocking fee plus the freight charge for the return.

If damage is noted, we will gladly supply you with a replacement hood. Please be sure to indicate damage on the bill of lading from the shipping company.

Returns are not accepted for accessories or additional items. This includes, but is not limited to, mod kits, duct kits, extensions, and additional strapping.

Returns will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Most items are returnable as long as they are in the same condition they were received with a 25% restocking fee plus the freight charge for the return. Please be careful with your measurements. The item must also be in the original packaging in which the hood was sent. We do not accept returns where modification to the product occurred, or installation was attempted.

Hoodsly.com accepts no responsibility for any scheduling mishaps, regardless of the situation. In-stock hoods are sold as-is and can only be returned if there is shipping damage. If there is damage to an in-stock hood before it is shipped, it will be noted on the product page.

Limited Warranties

Hoodsly warrants the metal/steel materials and the applied finish of this product, to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship, for a period of five (5) years, subject to the limitations outlined below (see section below). Color finishes may vary slightly in shade and are not guaranteed to perfectly match or coordinate. Finishes deemed to be significantly varied may be re-finished solely at Hoodsly's option and discretion. Plated finishes may have additional limitations (see section below).

Limitations

The repair or replacement of parts, or the performance of service under this warranty, does not extend the life of this warranty beyond its original expiration date.

This warranty is non-transferable and is offered exclusively for the benefit of the original purchaser, beginning on the original date of retail sale.

Hoodsly does not warrant this product against the following:

• Damage occurring during transportation or installation, or damage resulting from improper installation.
• Discoloration of finish, or distortion of metal parts, due to high heat.
• Damage as a result of accident, alteration, or misuse.

Hoodsly is not responsible for any additional charges that may occur during the warranty process, nor are they responsible for any travel, labor, or installation expenses.

Certain plated finishes without a protective clear coat will have a toning/patina effect over time. This process occurs naturally due to oxidation and is not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Process

If, during the given warranty periods, a product covered under this warranty proves to be defective in material or workmanship, a claim for warranty service should be made through Hoodsly. Proof of purchase will be required. Hoodsly reserves the right to choose, at its option, the best method of repair or replacement for any warrantied part or product.
