Craftsmanship Warranty
Hoodsly wood hoods carry a 3-year craftsmanship warranty, starting from the date of delivery.
Please always inspect our products upon arrival for any damage or discrepancies. Failure to image any issues before installation may result in further investigation needed or claim denial, as well as limited resolution options being available after installation.
This warranty covers issues, such as:
- Damage in transit (if reported before installation)
- Missing items
- Veneer issues such as cracking/bubbling
- Finish discrepancies
- Metal laminate peeling (not bubbling)
- Discrepancies in sizing
- Any other issues presenting, determined to be due to the construction of the product or materials used for construction.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage claimed after installation of the product or after modifications are made on site.
- Installation fees or delays in installation that was scheduled before receiving and inspecting the product.
- Dissatisfaction with the grain pattern on the hood such as mineralization, knots, or wood filler used to fill in pin nails markings.
- Metal laminate bubbling: Metal laminate only bubbles due to heat exposure. Proper ventilation selection and usage, will affect the longevity of the laminate on the hood, as well as your craftsmanship warranty.
- Issues with self applied finishes: We will accept any claims if a veneer issue presents, or if there is a clear material issue after finishing our hoods on site. However, Hoodsly warranty coverage will depend on the product used on the hood after received, and the application method.
- Structural issues presenting, due to modifications made to the hood on site or improper installation methods.
Hoodsly is always happy to assist with replacement parts for our wood hoods, if needed/requested. Replacement parts are subject to charged fees, based on the determined cause for the needed items.
